What Do I Need to Trade on Monday Trade?

1. EVM Wallet

To get started on Monday Trade, the first thing you'll need is to set up a wallet that supports Monad. The wallets that Monday Trade has integrated so far are Metamask, OKX, Rabby, Backpack, Wallet Connect and Phantom.

If you have not set up a wallet yet, you can set up a Rabby wallet easily here. After downloading a wallet extension for your browser, create a new wallet.

Your wallet has a secret recovery phrase. Anyone with access to your password or seed phrase can access your funds. Do not share your private key with anyone. Best practice is to record your seed phrase and store it in a secure place.

2. Add Monad Testnet to Your Wallet.

Step 1: Open your wallet and find where it shows the current network

Note: The screenshots below are from Rabby Wallet, but you can follow similar steps for other wallets as well.

Step 2: Go to Custom Network → Add Custom Network

Step 3: Either find and add the Monad Tested from the available Chainlist or manually add network details shared below:

Name: Monad Testnet

RPC URL: https://testnet-rpc.monad.xyz

Chain ID: 10143

Currency Symbol: MON

Add the Block Explorer URL by clicking the "Add a block explorer URL" button. Enter the Block Explorer URL https://testnet.monadexplorer.com

Once done, click Confirm.

Step 4:

You will need MON to pay for gas and tokens to trade. You can acquire MON (on Monad testnet) from this faucet.
